

If your child does not arrive after school, the following procedure will be put in place, if you know they are absent or elsewhere, this will save a great deal of time, effort and concern. Please inform us if your child is absent morning or afternoon. Fees will not be refunded for non-attendance. Parents must inform RB Active Care if a child is not attending for any reason, Parents must telephone the Manager on the Club Mobile number. Absence Policyīooked sessions are to be paid for in advance. If your child remains uncollected after 6:30pm and you have not warned us that you will be delayed, and we have been unable to reach you or any of your emergency contacts, we will follow our Uncollected Children Policy and contact the Social Care team. You may also be asked to make a contribution towards any extra staff wages and transport costs incurred. A late payment fee of £10.00 per 15 minutes will be charged if you collect your child after RB Active Care has closed or your booked session time has ended. RB Active Care finishes at 6:00pm, if you are delayed for any reason please telephone RB Active Care to let us know. You can request our Arrivals and Departures Policy for more details. We will not release your child into the care of a person unknown to us without your authorisation. If you need a different person to collect your child on a particular day, you must notify us in advance.

We expect that your child will normally be collected by the person(s) you have named on the registration form. A register is taken when children arrive in our care, and you must sign your child out at the end of each day when you collect them. Parents/careers must sign their child/ren into RB Active Care for breakfast club, RB Active Care staff collect children from school and escort them to the Club. You can request our Child Induction Policy for more details. Another child will usually be allocated to act as your child's buddy for the first few sessions. The induction will include running through RB Active Carerules and routines (including meal times, collection, children's meetings), and introducing your child to the staff and other children. During your child's first session time will be set aside for an induction. You and your child are welcome to visit the site and the staff at RB Active Care before your child's first day to familiarise yourselves with the setting and to help your child settle in.
